This week-end series will provide participants with an in-depth experience with Gestalt Play Therapy. This program is cumulative, providing maximum benefit to those who attend all workshops. Each week-end will include didactic discussion, experiential work, and opportunities for case presentation. Participants are asked to read Violet Oaklander’s books, Windows To Our Children and Hidden Treasure available on Amazon.com. Readings will also be provided on the topic of each week-end. The curriculum covers the same material as the intensive two week Summer Training, organized in a week-end format.

• March 14-15, 2009: Working with Emotional Expression. Significance of Anger and all Expressive Emotions in Affect Regulation and Emotional Well-being. Working with clay.




• May 16-17, 2009: Relational Affects: Shame and Guilt. Working and Introjects and Self-hatred. Introducing the Integration of Self as the Goal of Therapeutic Work. Working with puppets.




• July 18-19, 2009: Integration and Development of Self Functions in Gestalt Play Therapy. Preparing for Closure in Therapy. Bringing it all together.

Workshop Fees:

• $1800 for the series of six week-ends.
• A deposit of $300 with your registration form is required for your registration to be complete.
• Each week-end individually is $450.
• Full payment is required with registration form. Fee includes workshop materials, refreshments, transportation from SB airport if needed.

CEU’s:

• 10 contact hours per week-end. Felicia is a provider with Association for Play Therapy: 04-152 and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences: PCE-3247

• Solvang, California – 30 miles north of Santa Barbara in the Santa Ynez Wine Country.

• Please complete the Registration Form. A deposit of $300 is necessary to reserve your space. The remaining amount of $1500 for the series is due by September 1, 2008. Registration is not complete without a deposit. After September 1, registration must be accompanied by the full fee.
• Registration for any single week-end workshop must have payment of the full fee of $450. No fee reduction for individual workshops.

Fee Reduction:

• Only a few partial fee reductions are available. Please use the Fee Reduction Form and email it to Felicia@feliciacarroll.com. DEADLINE FOR FEE REDUCTION REQUESTS IS AUGUST 15, 2008. Fee reductions are granted on the basis of need and in order of date of application. Persons granted a reduced fee will be asked to assist Felicia Carroll with organizational tasks. No fee reduction for individual workshops.

Cancellation:

• If you need to cancel before the balance is paid, your deposit will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. If you have paid the full fee, a full refund will be made for requests received by August 15. A 50% refund (of the full fee) will be granted for requests received up to September 15 and no refunds will be issued for a cancellation after September 15.

Registration from outside the United States

• Payments form outside of the US must be paid in US funds by an international money order or a cashier’s check from an international bank. Personal checks and drafts are not accepted. If you prefer to transfer money directly into Felicia Carroll’s account, please contact her to make those arrangements. Any bank fees will be charged to you upon your arrival. You may also pay with PayPal that is set up on this website.
